Nasty Nes moved from the Philippines to Seattle at an early age.. With an innate love of music and martial arts Nes hosted the first Hip-Hop radio show in the West Coast, “Freshtracks” on KFOX Radio out of the Seattle/Tacoma area and Nes is one of the youngest students at the original Bruce Lee “Jun Fan Gung-Fu Institute”. As an actor Nes has been featured in films, “House Party 4,” “Kung Pow! Enter The Fist” & “ER.”

Nes is the NASTY in, NASTYMIX Records with Sir Mix-A-Lot. Nes discovered The High Children and is featured on the late Eazy-E single “Radio”. His more than twenty year career on radio has landed him on West Coast radio stations KFOX, KCMU, KUBE, KDAY & on KMEL. Nes is also featured on & The RAPATTACKLIVES Podcast. He served as HITS Magazine’s Rap Editor for 4 years.

Nes is the founder of his own Hip Hop music promotion company breaking & promoting new Hip Hop music to College Rap radio shows for decades, including Sir Mix-A-Lot, Snoop Dogg, 2Pac, Notorious B.I.G., Busta Rhymes, Lauryn Hill, Rakim, YBN Cordae, Wu-Tang, Chinx, Gang Starr, Tia P., Janet Jackson, J Cole, Onyx, Too Short, E-40, Dr Dre, Bone-Thugs & Harmony, Cypress Hill, and Fetty Wap just to name a few.
